Nicole van Kuppeveld’s journey into leadership development began on the front lines—supporting over 1000 clients on stress leave as a vocational counsellor. What she discovered? It wasn’t the work burning people out, it was toxic, outdated leadership.

That discovery led her to build Organizations by Design Inc., driven by the belief that leadership must evolve—and that change starts with us.

Nicole’s approach blends systems thinking, emotional intelligence, and experiential learning to create lasting change in organizations.

Shruti – Marketing Lead

As the Marketing Head at Organizations by Design Inc., I lead our strategic brand storytelling and digital presence to bring our transformative leadership programs to life. My work bridges creativity and purpose—aligning OBD’s core mission with powerful, people-centered marketing.

With a background in both marketing strategy and business analytics, I’ve designed high-impact campaigns, led the development of our program funnels and websites, and supported client growth across our Confidence in Communication, Women’s Leadership Series, and Coaching Services. I bring heart and hustle to every project, grounded in our Feminine-Inspired Leadership values.

At OBD Inc., I’ve found more than a role—I’ve found a purpose: helping emerging and experienced leaders discover the confidence and clarity to lead with authenticity.

Tanner – Client Services

As a human being it is valuable practice to pause and reflect. There is an important question that comes hand in hand with an indefinite retrospective; what is your “why”? People…the heart of my passion and daily motivation to be my best self and bring out the best in others.

My professional journey and tenure as a leader has taught me many lessons. I have tried and learned about who I want to be and who I would follow. Change in my personal and professional life has been shaped by experiences both good and bad, and my values have grown with me through complex challenges and unforgettable successes. It has become my mission to work with others and help guide them on their learning path and to create meaningful and lasting relationships.

With over 15 years working experience my tenure includes roles in retail stores (small and big box), corporate retail, small business, not-for-profit, and charitable sectors. I have held store, district/regional, and executive level positions with various business chains with a focus on operations, talent management, and business development.

I maintain several professional designations and certifications including Talent Experience, Training, Scrum/Agile Methodology, and Self Management. I am constantly seeking the next opportunity to enhance my skills and to be able to deliver impactful and memorable interactions with people.

As a proud member of the Organizations by Design Inc. team, my goal is to contribute to and participate in an environment of continuous improvement, intentional learning and growth, creative thinking, and collaborative coaching and development.

As a seasoned administrative and marketing professional, I have gained a wide range of experience and expertise that I bring to my role at OBD Inc. I have worked in diverse fields and gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by leaders in different sectors. My current position at OBD Inc. truly allows me to thrive and grow both personally and professionally everyday. Our OBD Inc approach is practical and applied which allows me to put my learning to work right away, everyday!

As a member of the OBD Inc team, I find immense satisfaction in building and contributing to the growth and success of our leadership and organizational development services. Working in start-up environments has taught me to be adaptable, creative, and proactive in finding solutions to increase our brand, grow our client base and build capacity for emergent leaders, like you!
